I would like to know whether uPVC is suitable for garden gates under harsh sun?

1. i think it will work.
2. It will probally work for a few years by then you will want something else anyway.
3. around here, there's two types... white, which is for underground use, not UV resistant... and gray, which is for use in the sun.... I built my greenhouse out of the gray and it's holding up just fine....but if you paint it, you can use either for use in the light.... if not painted, the white will crack and crumble in the second season or so....
